Xilisoft Audio Maker is powerful and multifunctional software which provides Audio Converting, CD Ripping, and Audio CD Burning.
In Audio Converting, it supports not only audio to audio conversion, such as between MP3, M4A, WAV, WMA, MP2, OGG, AAC, AC3, APE, FLAC, AU etc., but also video to audio conversion, with source formats including AVI, MPEG, WMV, ASF, MOV, MP4, 3GP, 3G2, RM, H.264/AVC, M4V.

Convert Audio Files?
1. Select Audio Converter function by clicking "Convert" tab.
2. Add files by clicking "Add" button on the main interface or select "Add File…" in the "File" menu.
3. Open the original file information dialog by double-clicking the selected original file. It will show you the preferences of the original file, such as: Audio Format, Bit Rate, Sample Rate, etc.
4. Specify the target file format you want to convert. Highlight one or several files you loaded first and then select output profile from "Profile" combo-box. For example, if you want to convert the first and third files to WMA format, you should highlight the two files and then select "WMA – Windows Media Audio (*.wma)" profile.
5. Select output mode: After selecting certain output format, the panel on the right will show general standards of the format, such as: Bit Rate, Sample Rate, Codec, etc. By clicking certain setting, you may specify it, or just reserve the default settings.
Tips: there are two modes – Simple Mode and Professional Mode.
In Simple Mode, you can adjust the output settings by using the slider. And the mode can be activated by clicking the "Simple" button.
In Professional Mode, you can set more professional preferences by adjust the Preference List, such as: Duration, ID3, Volume, Bit Rate, Sample Rate, Codec, etc. And the mode can be activated by clicking the "Advanced" button.
6. To set the folder that you want to save output files, you may select the output folder by clicking "Browse…" button or directly enter a path in the "Destination" box. "C:Temp" is the default destination folder.
7. At last, just click "Convert" button to start your conversion. When conversion finished, it will alarm you "Completed" under the "Status" column. What to do now? Just enjoy your music. The original quality of the input files can be preserved with our software.
Rip Music CD to Audio Files?
1. Select Music CD Ripper function by clicking "Rip" tab.
2. Load Music CD by clicking the "Select CD Drive" on the main interface, or click "Select CD Drive" in the "File" menu. Xilisoft Audio Maker will auto-detect all drives on your computer and select the one with audio CD.
3. When Music CD loaded, Xilisoft Audio Maker will auto-detect the CD-ROM and list all the tracks for you. Select one/several tracks to extract. Then you can specify the target format by selecting Profile combo-box for one or several tracks.
4. Select output mode: After selecting certain output format, the right panel will show general standard of the format, such as: Bit Rate, Sample Rate, Codec, etc. These parameters can be changed by clicking, or reserved as default.
Tips: there are two modes – Simple Mode and Professional Mode.

The album information and output path can be set in Professional Mode. Enter "Artist", "Generic", "Album", etc., information of your music in "Album" area. A better way is to retrieve track info from CDDB.
6. In order to set the folder that you want to save your target files, you may select the output folder by clicking "Browse…" button or directly enter a path in the "Destination" box, with "C:Temp" set as default.
7. At last, just click "Convert" button to start your conversion. You can see "Completed" under the "Status" column which means you got a successful conversion.
Burn Music CD?
1. Select Audio Converter function by clicking "Burn" tab.
2. Add Files by clicking "Add" button on the main interface or select "Add File…" in the "File" menu.
3. You can open the original file information dialog by double-clicking the selected original file. It will tell you the preferences of the original file, such as: Audio Format, Bit Rate, Sample Rate, etc.
Tips: Don’t add too many files exceeding the capability of CD disk. You may look it over with the capability bar at the bottom of the main interface.
4. Insert a blank CD disk into your RW CD-ROM and select the RW CD Drive in the "CD Recorder" list. The burning speed and the amount can be specified if necessary.
5. Open the Preferences dialog by selecting the "Preferences" in the "Tools" menu and click the "Burn" tab. You should specify a temporary path for the burning process. Note: The Drive of the temporary path should have enough capability, generally 850 MB.
6. You may set the CD preferences on the right "Profile" panel, such as "Album", "Artist", "Title" and "Gap Between Songs (seconds)" ,etc.
7. Start burning your Music CD by clicking the "Burn" button on the main interface.
After Completing Burning, you may enjoy your Music CD with your CD player!
